The Pingnan Agriculture Bureau gave 1,500 grapevines to farmers in Xi Ling, Ling Xia, Dai Xi and Long Bridge, with the aim of encouraging them to grow grapes, pingnan. net reported on Feb 19.
Pingnan is aiming to grow different kinds of fruits and vegetables, and is also focusing on industrial restructuring. The authorities bought the grapevines in Fu'an – a county in Ningde – and farmers will likely harvest the grapes sometime in the middle of autumn, which means they will be able to avoid competition from other areas due to the different harvest time.
