The mountain also has four caves which are connected to each other. Many visitors arrive in the area - though it is difficult to climb the mountain, especially due to the strong winds.
An entrance ticket to Liugong Rock Park costs 60 yuan ($9.8)and it is open from 8 am to 5 pm.
Ningde's climate is warm and humid with annual average temperatures of between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is in July - when the monthly average temperature is between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius – and the lowest temperatures are in January, with a monthly average temperature of about 8 degrees Celsius.
Ningde has complex and various landforms including mountains, hills, plateaus and plains - and the microclimates vary. Though the temperatures in the city's coastal area are not the same as in inland regions, Ningde – with its warm climate and abundant rainfall - is a year-round travel destination.
