Pingnan hosts campus science and technology contest

The opening ceremony of Pingnan’s Campus Science and Technology Contest was held on May 5.

The festival is co-sponsored by Pingnan Science and Technology Association and Pingnan No 1 Middle School, aiming to stimulate the students’ interest in science and technology.

He Xuedong, chairman of Pingnan’s Science and Technology Association, and Hu Guogong, headmaster of Pingnan No 1 Middle School addressed the opening ceremony. Both of them encouraged the students and teachers to take an active part in the festival and gain more knowledge from the experience.

According to the Association, the festival will last until June 1. A total of ten activities will be held, including a Logo designing contest, a physics knowledge contest and an invention contest.
