Pingnan strives to build beautiful countryside

In the coming three years, Pingnan county will set aside six million yuan ($960,600) each year to assist 12 impoverished local villages starting this year.

It will give 50,000 yuan per year to each of the following villages: Shangpei, Jitou, Guixi, Xinxiang, Luoshayang, Qianfenxi, Shoushan, Lingxia, Liyang, Shaoding, Kangli and jixia.

Pingnan is a high mountain ecological county and has the potential to be a beautiful county. The 12 villages are planning how to use the money and how to get some extra donations from local wealthy people.
