Pingnan is promoting small projects and improving people’s livelihoods this year.
Zhang Defan, a food and drink store’s boss in Pingnan, complained to the officer at the Bureau of Housing and Urban Affairs that the old-fashioned garbage bin outside his shop had a bad influence on his business. After a month, 300 new-styled garbage bins appeared in the city, which made a big difference to its appearance.
The Pingnan government is trying to solve drinking water, traffic and production problems, and is carrying out 26 projects such as school education and drinking water safety.
