Pingnan encourages graduates to start their own businesses

Pingnan county recently introduced Advice On Strengthening and Improving the Work On Supporting College Graduates’ Business-Startups to encourage and support college graduates to start their own business by implementing a package of preferential policies on business registration, tax reduction and exemption, financial support for business-starting, and business practice guidance.
According to the Advice, the support will be increased to 1,000,000 yuan ($160,100)as a business-initiating fund for college graduates; college graduates who start their own business and meet the conditions required in the Advice could continuously get a monthly subsidy of 300 yuan for each person for three years; a guarantee fund at county level will be founded with a first tranche of 500,000 yuan together with a small amount of loan guarantees under 300,000 yuan with interest rates decreasing by 3‰.
Government services will be provided on small loans with discounted interest, subsidized projects, policy advice, project promotion, business practice guidance, enterprise training and follow-up feed-back.
A three year service of free personal archives management within the construction of a business-initiated training center for college graduates, entrepreneurial leading plan and mentors system and promotion of student entrepreneurship model will also be realized soon.
It is reported that there are 28 college graduates starting 30 business projects in Pingnan in total.
In addition, Fujian Yuhuang Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co and college graduate Jiang Miaoling, Lingxia Qianmu’s Excellent and High Yield Agriculture Demonstration Zone and college graduate Ye Rongrong have formed assistance pairs respectively with the technology, market, and business-initiating mentors from these two companies.
