More than 200 students from primary and middle schools took part in an experience activity on Oct 30th at the Pingnan Farming-Reading Cultural Museum in Jitou village, Pingnan county, Fujian province.
The activity provided a chance for teenagers to get closer to the traditional Chinese lifestyle. They tried cloth-weaving, loach-catching and straw rope weaving. They pushed the stone mill to get soybean milk and ground rice by treading their feet. Local traditional culture enabled the young to know more about their ancestors and history.
