Ningde raises minimum wages

Ningde, a prefecture-level city in the northeastern coast of Fujian, raised all counties' minimum wages on the basis of the province's recent notification.
After the adjustment, the minimum wages are up to 1,350 yuan ($217.35) per month in Jiaocheng, Fuan and Fuding, 1,230 yuan per month in Xiapu and Gutian are and 1,130 yuan per month in Shouning, Zhouning, Tuorong and Pingnan.
The minimum wage refers to employers must pay laborers, who provide normal work in working hours, the minimum wages or more with legal currency.
It excludes overtime wages, allowances for special working environment, insurance, social benefits and nonmonetary income.
Laborers can report employers that don't implement minimum wages to local human resources and social security bureaus.
