Liu Weiping, male, Han nationality, the governor of Gansu province. Born in Fujing city, Heilongjiang province in May, 1953.
Joined the Chinese Communist Party in January, 1974 and started work in October, 1968 with a master's degree of the Central Party School, majored in World Economic and Engineer. Now he is the vice secretary of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and the president of the Party School of CPC Gansu Provincial Committee.
From October,1968, worked in Xinfand group of Bayi Community, Nanchang county, Jiangxi province; From April,1970, worker in Techniques Lab of Hongdu Mechanism Factory of Aeronautics and Astronautics Administration; From April,1972, studied at Nanjing Aeronautical Institute, majored in aircraft designing;
From January, 1976, technician of the First Design Institute of Hongdu Mechanism Factory of Aeronautics and Astronautics Administration, secretary of the Secretary Group of Factory Office, vice group leader, group leader, vice director of the factory office;
