The school is located in Xiahe county in the Gannan Tibet autonomous prefecture of Gansu province and has more than 1,000 Tibetan students. To enable students to learn Chinese at a young age, the school has opened Chinese courses in recent years, with the teachers encouraging students to learn Chinese and trying to make Chinese courses popular among students.
