Gansu man gets money for panda attack

A man in the Northwest China's Gansu province was attacked by a wild panda and received compensation recently.
A man in Liziba village has received 520,000 yuan ($83,000) in compensation because his right leg may need to be amputated after an attack by a wild panda while he was working on his farm. The villager has had eight operations in the past year and sued three government departments responsible for wildlife.
