Jinchang city in Gansu province will host four group weddings from June to September featuring a lavender or rose theme for 300 couples nationwide, according to an agreement between government and enterprises on May 3.

The four group weddings are scheduled for June 6, July 19, August 18 and September 6.

Jinchang city succeeded in hosting group weddings last year, and this year the city will make the weddings more personalized with high standards to attract worldwide tourists, according to the authorities.

The government of Jinchang city reached agreements with three travel agencies to attract and bring new couples to Jinchang. The three enterprises are Gansu Jinlong International Travel Agency, Global Tour Gansu branch and Zijin Huacheng Travel Agency.

Renowned Gansu wedding planning companies will also design customized travel routes and professional wedding photo shoots in Jinchang. The brides and grooms will have a choice between a lavender-themed wedding or a rose-scented one.
