The summer night cruises along the Lanzhou segment of the Yellow River have started running from June 12, with those aboard enjoying views of the iconic river in the cool summer evening.

The ferries leave from Lanzhou Port and White Tower Mountain Port in Chengguan district, in the city of Lanzhou at 8:00 pm every evening and sail along a 6-km route.

Two round trip night cruise routes are available: Lanzhou Port–Jinyan Bridge and the White Tower Mountain–Jinyan Bridge. The cruise sails through some famous landmarks along the Yellow River, such as the White Tower Mountain. A round trip takes about an hour.

The ticket costs 60 yuan ($9.11) for per adult. Students and the seniors will both enjoy discounts. The children under 1.2 meters are free.

Lanzhou Water Bus Company in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province, offers the Yellow River night cruise services every year once the river rises to a navigable level.
