Gannan: NW China's secret garden

Located in southwest Gansu province, Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture is a land of endless prairies, blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies.
The prefecture welcomed 2.7 million Chinese and overseas visitors in the first five months of 2016, a year-on-year increase of 60.1 percent, and yielding 1.23 billion yuan ($184.40 million) in tourism revenue, an increase of 67.7 percent.
More than 10 million visitors are expected to visit to Gannan throughout 2016, according to local authorities.
