Hexi Corridor's Sixth Organic Wine Festival sees $2.48b of investment

Hexi Corridor's Sixth Organic Wine Festival opened in Wuwei, Gansu province, on Sept 6. During the festival, a total of 58 contracts were signed, achieving record investment of $2.48 billion, Xinhua.net reported.

Official statistics reveal that the investment covers various areas including wine production, the deep processing of agricultural products, e-commerce, tourism and logistics.

Some 33 investments contracts are related to the industrialization of agriculture, representing 56.9 percent of the total projects, with investment totaling 6.68 billion yuan ($ 1 billion).
