Renewable energy capacity exceeds fossil fuels in Gansu

According to statistics released by State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company, electricity generated from renewable sources now accounts for 41 percent of the province's total output.
By the end of September, wind and solar generated 41.2 percent of the province’s electricity, exceeding that generated by fossil-fuel power stations for the first time.
