Gansu's Baiyin city inked four agreements of 951 million yuan ($153.2 million) at the 11th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair. The four projects were Baiyin Tianxinyuan Mountain Sports Park, Grandfather Mountain Tourism Area, a ceramics production line and a commercial street themed 24 solar terms.

The fair took place in Guangdong's Shenzhen city in May, during which Baiyin laid emphasis on local unique characteristics to promote its cultural industries, such as culture of Silk Road, Yellow River, folk customs, Buddhism and mining industry.

The city also sought cooperation opportunities with travel agencies to design tour routes of different themes with the view to promote local tourism.
