Baiyin to have full wireless broadband network coverage

Baiyin city, Gansu province will receive a 200 million yuan ($31.30 million) investment to build 622 telecommunication tower base stations in 2015 and 2016, according to an agreement between the city's government and China Tower Co's subsidiary in Gansu signed on Oct 23
Once completed, the 622 telecommunication tower bases will make wireless broadband Internet accessible for every town and village in Baiyin.
Under the agreement, China Tower Co's subsidary will fund the communication infrastructure construction in Baiyin, including the construction of the telecommunication towers and installment of wireless broadband.
Baiyin city's government said that all the measures are being taken to form an efficient and convenient information service system.
China Tower Co, headquartered in Beijing, is dedicated to constructing telecommunication towers and installing wireless broadband. It is a communication facilities service joint-stock enterprise whose shareholders include China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom.
