On 13 August, 2015, Jose Eduardo Dos Santos, President of Angola, inspected Sambizanga’s infrastructure construction project contracted by CGGC. He was accompanied by senior officials of the Governmenta of Angola.
President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos inspected the construction site and debriefed the Project Manager on the implementation and progress of the Project. He said that the Project was significantly progressive and showed a better image in 2015, and hoped that CGGC would plan scientifically, organize carefully and provide Angolan people with excellent construction quality and extraordinary progress. He also required relevant authorities and ministries of Angola to provide full support and assistance for CGGC during the subsequent implementation of the Project.
It is reported that Sambizanga's infrastructure construction project is located in the District of Sambizanga of Luanda City, Capital of Angola. The Project includes construction of beds and supporting structure layers of many roads, traffic index lines, sidewalks and traffic signs, and will play an important role in building a convenient, efficient and safe urban traffic system of Luanda upon completion. Since commencement of the Project, the Project Department of CGGC has always been adhering to the strategic philosophy of "being stronger, better and world class", conducting strict internal management with excellent construction quality and smooth project progress. The department has been highly praised by the local government, owners and China's overseas institutions.
