On 28 January, 2016, the hoist of 1# boiler steel structure was initiated in Indonesia Takara Coal-fired Power Station Project which was generally contracted by CGGC in EPC mode. As a major node section in the construction of thermal power station, the hoist of boiler steel structure symbolized that the on-site installation had commenced officially and the Takara Coal-fired Power Station would enter into a new construction peak time.

A simple yet solemn hoisting ceremony was held on the project site. The project owners, engineers, heads of local government responsible for the project site, local army and police representatives were invited to participate. The owner principals briefly commented on the construction of the Takara Project in the early stage, emphasized expectations of Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia, on the project's schedule, appraised the accomplishment of this landmark node as scheduled and appealed all sectors of the society to enthusiastically support implementation of the project, expecting CGGC to make persistent efforts to abide by preset schedule and fulfill the Takara Project with perfect quality. The heads of local government stated that the construction could actively stimulate local employment and economic development, and they promised to provide all possible convenience and assistance for subsequent execution so as to create a favorable external environment.
Relevant official representatives of the Project Management Department expressed their sincere appreciation towards the efforts and support of all participant units and government institutions, on behalf of CGGC. They promised that this landmark node would be regarded as a new start for further elaborate organization, planning and promotion of the scheduled power generation and operation of the Takara Project and that all social responsibilities would be implemented positively, striving to create more job opportunities for local people and make contribution to the development of local economy.
Takara Coal-fired Power Station Project with the installed capacity of 2×100MW is located at Punagaya Village, Jeneponto City, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, and is jointly contracted, organized and executed by the coalition of CGGC and several local companies in Indonesia in a contract term of 33 months. Upon completion, the station will greatly ease the power shortage suffered in South Sulawesi Province and significantly improve local economic development and people's living standard.
