An Internet pioneer park for young entrepreneurs was launched in Xuwen county, Zhanjiang, on July 6.

The park, the first of its kind in the city, aims to boost young entrepreneurs' enthusiasm about starting up their own businesses and help improve their entrepreneurial skills. The project will make best use of the Internet technology in promoting the transformation and upgrading of Xuwen's agriculture industry.

The park mainly consists of two parts. The main building is located inside Xuwen's agricultural product trading market and situated on an area of 2,100 square meters. It can accommodate 100 entrepreneurial enterprises. The second part for cross-border businesses covers an area of 1,600 square meters and can accommodate 60 companies.

In order to eliminate hurdles before starting up businesses, Xuwen has provided a number of favorable policies for young entrepreneurial teams settled in the park, such as free rent, start-up funds, small loans and subsidies.

So far, 100 start-up enterprises have already settled in the main building of the pioneer park, making it full-capacity.
