The preparatory committee of the 2015 China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) seeks volunteers to work at the Expo, Zhanjiang Evening News reported on Aug 23.

Three kinds of volunteers, namely main, general and professional volunteers will be needed. Main volunteers will take part in the preparatory work of the expo. General volunteers mainly provide traffic guidance, information consultation and other supporting services. Professional volunteers will help with some professional services such as reception service, interpretation and disabilities service.

Volunteers, who want to apply, can register on www.cmee.org.cn and get more information about the recruitment process.

Co-sponsored by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and the State Oceanic Administration, the expo will be held from Nov 26 to 29 in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province.

The total exhibition area will cover nearly 100,000 square meters. The Expo is expected to attract more than 1,300 enterprises and 300,000 visitors.
