This was developed by the Bama Shouxiang International Tourism Group to bring a new tourist product to Bama and change the old sightseeing tourism with diversity. It cost nearly 100 million yuan and involves a mountain and water scenery that is unique to Bama county and is the city of Hechi’s first high-tech real-scenery show with local ethnic features, and a popular tourist attraction on the island. The show is called Bama Dreamland and provides cultural banquet folkways, scenery, and longevity culture.
It is held every evening to fill in the blanks in Bama county tourism and has three chapters: “Charms of Yao People’s Mountains”, “Happy Mountain People”, and “Mountain People Enjoying a Long Life”. It was produced by a Taiwanese designer who did the lighting for Impression: Third Sister Liu, the first real-scenery mountain and water show in the world. It employs the world’s best lighting and acoustic equipment to create a dreamland where water and the sky are one and moonlight, flood lights, laser lights and a water screen film come together on sparkling Cifu Lake.
The Guangdong Zhongshan Torch Song and Dance Ensemble is responsible for the staging to show the charm of the Yao people of Bama and their weddings, copper drums, food, naked bathing, and scenery. This real-scene show gives the audience an opportunity to experience the charm, in a space with more than 1,700 seats. The show lasts for about an hour.
