The Jinchengjiang district in Hechi, Guangxi, held the opening ceremony of the 23rd "Youth Cup" Basketball Games at Hechi Gymnasium on April 22.

The games were organized by Jinchengjiang district committee and Jinchengjiang Sports Management Center.

Lasting eight days, the game attracted 528 players from 44 teams from Jinchengjiang and Hechi. A total of 101 matches were played to choose a champion.

The game aimed at commemorating the 96th anniversary of the May 4th Movement and the 93rd anniversary of the Communist Youth League.

Su Zhihong, deputy director of Hechi People's Congress Standing Committee, and Qin Xianchao, vice chairman of Hechi Municipal Political Consultative Conference, participated in the opening ceremony.
