Yizhou, a county-level city in Hechi, Guangxi, will hold the sixth Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival from Oct 18 to Nov 18, with an aim to develop the tourism brand of Liu Sanjie and promote tourism in Yizhou.

The festival will be jointly sponsored by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Tourism Development Committee and Hechi municipal people's government.

It includes a total of 22 activities during the one-month festival period. Apart from the opening ceremony and some traditional activities held every year, some new activities are added to this year's festival, such as the opening ceremony of Huaiyuan ancient town, "White Dragon Cup" Football Match and the Cultural Seminar on Yizhou's Folk Songs and Poems.

Yizhou is now striving to develop into a famous tourism county in Guangxi and is actively integrating into Guilin and Bama international tourism areas, according to Yizhou Mayor Liang Ning. The city will also enhance its touristic services and develop local tourism into a significant pillar industry by taking advantage of its location.
