The farmer innovation park in Huanjiang Industrial Park held a commencement ceremony at Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi, on Dec 21.
The innovation park is expected to create more than 5,000 jobs within three to five years. By then, the total industrial output value is estimated to have reached 1 billion yuan ($154.2 million), shaking off poverty for over 20,000 local people.
With a total investment of 120 million yuan, the construction of the project is divided into two stages. The first-stage construction includes a 40,000-square-meter standardized workshop, a logistics storehouse, a 2,000-square-meter office building, a 6,000-square-meter staff residential building and some supporting public facilities. It will be completed by the end of 2016. The second-stage construction will finish and come into service by the end of the next year.
The park will offer free rental for new enterprises for three years to solve the problem of capital shortage and the long periods of business processing necessary for medium and small investors.
