Three major projects in Yizhou start construction

The groundbreaking ceremony of major projects, including the ecological restoration of the northern bank of the Longjiang River, as well as the Fifth Middle School and Fifth Kindergarten of Yizhou was held in Yizhou district, Hechi on April 22.
With a total investment of 275 million yuan ($38.87 million), the ecological restoration and upgrading project on the northern bank of the Longjiang River consists of six sub-projects, including road reconstruction and ecological park restoration.
The project will improve living and production conditions, as well as promote the improvement of urban roads, parks, rivers, and water system landscapes. It will further protect the ecological environment of the Longjiang River, as well as enhance the economic layout and investment environment of urban areas.

The Fifth Middle School and the Fifth Kindergarten of Yizhou plans to cover an area of about 79 mu (5.27 hectares), of which the middle school is about 61 mu and the kindergarten is about 18 mu. The middle school has a total investment of about 85.65 million yuan and will set up 24 classes for enrolling 1,080 students. With a total investment of about 20.82 million yuan, the kindergarten will have 21 classes and enroll 630 students.
The completion of the project will effectively relieve the current pressure on the city's junior high schools and kindergartens.
