The groundbreaking ceremony of Hechi Zhong'ang Times Square, a large-scale urban commercial complex that has a total investment of more than 1.1 billion yuan ($166.08 million), was held on Nov 12.

Hechi Zhong'ang Times Square is located on the east side of Chengxi Avenue, with a planned area of 68,000 square meters. The total construction area is estimated to be nearly 250,000 sq m. The commercial complex will prominently feature catering, leisure, entertainment, and shopping businesses, as well as include brand flagship stores and specialty stores to build a high-end commercial center in Jinchengjiang district.

The Hechi Zhong'ang Times Square project took only three months from negotiation to the official start of its construction. After the completion of the project, it will not only increase the area’s residents' leisure options, but also effectively improve their living environment, playing a positive role in promoting the prosperity and development of the city's market economy through commerce and consumption.
