Technicians from the bureau of agriculture and rural affairs of Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi have come to the planting base of Changmei town to guide farmers to do spring plowing and preparation work, local media outlets reported on March 18.

The bureau has integrated technical resources, organized agricultural experts to provide consulting services for local farmers, as well as made use of various publicity platforms to release favorable policies and information.

To date, the bureau has organized more than 20 experts to carry out technical guidance in the planting base. They have introduced new varieties and new technologies to boost spring plowing.

In addition, the technicians will carry out planting technology training to constantly improve the level of scientific planting as well as to bolster the quality and efficiency of agricultural production during spring plowing.

Huanjiang county's grain planting task is 121,400 mu (8093 hectares) in 2021. The county has reserved 186,500 kilograms of seeds and 16,100 metric tons of chemical fertilizer, which are enough to meet the spring plowing demand this year.
