A series of livestreamed online shopping events, themed around the Zhuang ethnic group's Sanyuesan Festival, kicked off in Hechi on April 14 and will run until May 5.

Using the Zhuang ethnic group's traditional folk festival as an opportunity, Hechi will help hundreds of enterprises and internet anchors to carry out offline and online promotions.

The event aims to improve the popularity of Hechi's local specialties, boost spending during the festival, and stimulate domestic demand.

Meanwhile, the livestreams can create a cultural atmosphere, cultivate talented local anchors, as well as promoting the employment of college students.

Livestream shopping activities have further enhanced the popularity of the online consumer market of Hechi's products, and cultivated various e-commerce talents.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
