On July 30th of 2010, the Eco-Forum Global has been held in the city of Guiyang, which was co-sponsored by National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Natural Resources and Environment, Peking University, Guiyang Political Committee and Municipality of PRC.

With the theme of Act for the Sake of Green Development, the Forum aims to build an open platform for exchanging technology and sharing information.

As the forum centers around the low-carbon economy, green development and ecological civilization, those who attended the forum have mainly discussed about the switch of modes in economic development and further explored the prospective topics such as green industry and its employment, green consumption, green transportation and trade and offered constructive suggestions.

2010 Guanyang Consensus, published in the forum, called forth positive action from our part in that eco-civilization shall take its form in buildings, residential communities, workshops and fields. Solid and effective measures are supposed to be adopted to reduce carbon emission by both community and individuals.
