Guizhou province is expected to complete a provincial information system for 5,000 countryside stores next month, after which they will become multi-functional.
Countryside stores that have a large-scale distribution center, an over 30 percent goods delivery rate, and many direct-stores will have priority to receive information transformation. In addition, large agricultural enterprises are also included in the transformation.
The informational transformation aims at modernizing rural networks in Guizhou province and expanding countryside store services in three aspects – business, finance and communication.
Stores that receive transformation will gradually provide products and services like audio-visual products, credit-card services, medicine, books and postal services.
