The Guizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, themed "Genesis and Spirit", opened in Hong Kong on June 6 and lasts for 10 days.

"In the past few years, Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland have been in close communication and cooperation regarding the protection of China's intangible cultural heritage," said Florence Hui Hiu-fai, director general of the Home Affairs Bureau, Hong Kong SAR.

Starting 2013, in order to further strengthen exchange and cooperation between Hong Kong and the mainland, the "Genesis and Spirit" series exhibition will continuously introduce Guizhou to Hong Kong. The exhibition is rich in content and has various displays to show the variety, uniqueness and authenticity of the Miao, Buyi, Dong, Yao and Shui ethnic groups.
