The ninth Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Area Cooperation and Development Forum and the third China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverage Expo will open in Guiyang, Guizhou province, on September 9.

"The two events will help develop a new model for PPRD area cooperation. They will expand the influence of the PPRD and provide an important platform for trade cooperation," said Li Feng, secretary-general of the Guangzhou provincial government.

During the forum, 11 cities will sign a "Guizhou Consensus" to deepen cooperation.
