A Chishui River drainage area's eco-compensation and biodiversity protection project recently settled in Renhuai city, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The project was developed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with a total investment of $18.2 million.
Among it, $2.2 million was donated by the Global Environment Facility, and the rest was provided by China and the UNDP.
