The time to process export tax rebates has been shortened from 20 to eight work days, and $73.1 million has been refunded to key export enterprises according to the Guiyang tax bureau on March 1.
The new policy provides capital support for the healthy development of companies in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou.
According to a report, the processing time for export tax rebates was 20 work days. That has now been shortened to eight work days for qualified companies.
The measure will enhance the quality and efficiency of export rebates and simplify procedures.
Meanwhile, an agreement, the content of which is about export rebate risk control and service commitment, between the Guiyang tax bureau and 16 key export enterprises has been signed.
In accordance with the agreement, the duties concerning export rebate have been cleared out, including application improvement, risk notifications and timely payment of tax rebates.
In line with statistics of the Guiyang national tax bureau, 714 enterprise export reviews have been carried out in 2014.
An enterprise, which has been found involved in tax rebate violation, must make complementary payments, which mirror the positive actions that have been taken on tax rebate violation.
