Organizers of the Eco Global Forum 2015, in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province, June 26-29, say that more than 4,000 guests have confirmed their attendance, with 1,169 of honored guests, 30 percent of them from overseas, including 30 state leaders, 75 officials of international organizations, 50 well-known scholars and 132 entrepreneurs.
The theme of this year's forum is "Embracing a New Era of Eco-civilization，New agenda，New normal，New actions", with five sections -- embracing new international, regional and national sustainable development; catalyzing innovation-based green industrial transformations; promoting human-based green urbanization; fostering modern governance for eco-civilization and establishing an ecological red line.
The meeting will host three plenary sessions, 32 other sessions, and 39 activities covering a new agenda for global green development and international cooperation, a new agenda and new normal in China's sustainable development, a governance system and capacity of ecological civilization, green industry and sustainable development, and green urbanization that includes society and consumption.
