Representatives of Portuguese, Guizhou's enterprises and Guizhou government took part in the China Guizhou-Portugal Green Industry Dialogue to exchange views and seek cooperation on developing eco-friendly industry at Guiyang city, the capital of Guizhou province held on June 26.
Green industry refers to the industry that does no harm to the environment and contributes to the sustainable development.
Several agreements was signed, among which Anshun city government inked cooperative framework with Portugal Zhou Investment Co in building a town featuring on European travelling factors in Anshun.
According to Zhou Yiping, the president of the company, the project is looking to invite Portuguese companies to take part in and attract more foreign companies to bring exotic culture to the city.
"Portugal takes the lead in textile, tourism and environmental protection technologies around the world which provides great opportunities for Guizhou," said Ji Hong, the director of Guizhou investment promotion bureau at the conference. "Guizhou is expected to work together with Portugal in all-round fields," Ji added.
