Colorful Guizhou Airlines, founded in June 2015 with headquarters in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province, recently reported the signing of a long-term agreement with the Brazilian aeronautical company, Embraer, on purchasing parts for a fleet of E190 jet aircraft.
Colorful Guizhou is the province's first airline and the region's first purchaser of E190s, having ordered up to 17 of the craft from Embraer, two of which were delivered in December 2015. Embraer currently supplies more than 50 airlines worldwide with parts so that customers can cut replacement and storage costs by relying on Embraer’s extensive service network.
Embraer, with HQ in São José dos Campos, Brazil, produces commercial jets that can carry up to 130 passengers. It has offices and customer services in Brazil, China, the United States, the Netherlands, Portugal and Singapore.
