A cross country race was held in Zunyi in Guizhou province on April 16 to mark the Red Army's Long March that finished 80 years ago.
The race, called "Crossing the Chishui River", was comprised of rowing, cycling and running, and covered 33 kilometers in total. Competitors formed teams of six to finish the whole course.
Nearly 140 participants competed in the race, including 36 from the UK, the US, Canada, Russia, Romania, Kazakhstan and South Korea.
Beijing's Vigo Sports took home first place, finishing the challenge within 190 minutes.
Guizhou provincial tourism authorities plan to hold the race annually over the next four years and develop it into a local brand event of Zunyi city.
