Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province has come in 10th in a list by the Ministry of Environmental Protection detailing the air quality for 74 cities across China in March.
The list measured major pollutants such as PM 2.5 and the results showed that on average, across all the cities in question, 68.4 percent of days in March met the country's air quality standards. Standout cities included Kunming in Yunnan province, Lhasa in Tibet and Lishui in Zhejiang province, which all achieved a 100 percent quality rating.
Cities ranked in the top ten for the best air quality were Haikou, Zhoushan, Lhasa, Huizhou, Xiamen, Kunming, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Lishui and Guiyang.
