A forum on ecology opened in Guizhou's Qiannan prefecture on Sept 21, CRI Online reported.
The forum was jointly sponsored by the Qiannan prefecture government and the Chinese Ecological Civilization Research and Promotion Association. The Ecological China Channel of CRI (China Radio International) Online also supported the conference.
Around 260 people attended the forum including representatives from governments and local businesses.
The forum aims to promote the concept of ecological civilization whilst advancing a green growth and sustainable development agenda for Guizhou province. Forum attendees also discussed new technology and new ways to promote Guizhou’s ecological construction.
