So far, Foxconn has used tens of thousands of machines in place of human workers to undertake repetitive and dangerous labor. We've already had five "no-light factories" where machines take over all manufacturing work. The sixth of the kind will open in Guiyang-Anshun New Area at the end of this year. However, fully-automatic manufacturing has not yet been achieved because some key examining and analyzing processes need a human brain. It is expected that in five to 10 years we will accumulate enough data and make fully-automatic manufacturing come true.
