According to Guiyang customs in Southwest China's Guizhou province, the registrations for foreign trade managers and certificates of origin will be combined together on Oct 15, which means that foreign trade companies will enjoy more preferential policies in exports.
The combination of the registrations simplifies the procedures, lowers costs, and improves efficiency, allowing foreign trade companies to register only one time to receive both certificates.
To date, over 3,200 companies possess the certificates of origin in the area under Guiyang customs' jurisdiction. From January to September, Guiyang customs issued 4,349 certificates of origin for exported goods worth over $720 million, obtaining tariff preferences of about $20.2 million abroad.
