Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed the memorandum of establishing sister city relationships with Solingen, Germany in Shanghai on Oct 23 to carry out economic, tourism, culture, and education cooperation in the future.
With the achievements made in its economic and social development in recent years, Guiyang has become a hub city of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
Guiyang hopes to expand exchanges and cooperation with cities in Europe, as well as introduce more high quality Germany made products, as Guiyang possesses a promising consumer market for middle and high-end goods.
Solingen is impressed by Guiyang's ecological environment, industrial resources, and future development, thus looking forward to fully exploring its potential and developing in depth cooperation with Guiyang.
