Huangguoshu Airport opens doors for Anshun's tourism development

According to official statistics, since the opening of Huangguoshu Airport in Anshun city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, inbound and outbound passengers of the airport have reached 90,000. During the seven-day National Day holiday, outbound passengers totaled 3,500.

The establishment of Huangguoshu Airport has brought passengers, capital and information to Anshun, which can help Anshun develop into a major tourist destination in China and the world.

Anshun is a major tourism destination in West China, with distinctive karst landscapes, 100 waterfalls and 1,200 valleys.
Before the establishment of the airport, railways and expressways were the only way to reach Anshun. Travel options were time-consuming and inconvenient.

"Anshun's tourism industry requires an airport. Thanks to the support of the Guizhou provincial government and Anshun local government, we now have an airport, and it currently mainly serves tourism purposes," said Du Tao, general manager of Anshun Civil Aviation Development Co.
