According to the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Committee (GPDRC), the application for the Anshun Wanxiang Tourism City was submitted on November 20. Once approved, it would become one of the leading modern service industry communities in Guizhou province.

Anshun Wanxiang Tourism City, located in Southwest China's Anshun city with a total investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.69 billion) and covering 24.28 square kilometers, is one of the key projects of Anshun’s 12th Five-Year Plan.

It is reported that the project, built in accordance with 5A tourism standards, is an international tourism comprehensive area integrating spa healthcare, business conference, entertainment, theme park and technology experiences.
