Chuandong Paleolithic Site

Chuandong Paleolithic Site in Puding county is an extremely important discovery after the Peking Man site at Zhoukoudian in China.

Many objects have been unearthed at this site, including two complete human skulls, 18,000 pieces of broken mammal bones , more than 500 pieces of single teeth, 13 genus or species of animal fossils, more than 20,000 stone artifacts and more than 1,000 bone artifacts. The paleoanthropological cavemen site is of extreme importance for archaeological research. It is praised as "the lamp of Asian civilization" by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
