Currently, there are 17 industrial parks in Anshun authorized by people's governments at or above provincial level or are included in the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011 – 2015) of Guizhou province, including Anshun Economic and Technological Development Zone and Liyang High-tech Industrial Park approved by the provincial government in 1992 and 2001 respectively, as well as 15 industrial parks, whose planning area will cover 43,333 hectares (433,330,000 square meters).

In 2011, the 15 industrial parks generated 11.54 billion yuan ($1.86 billion) of industrial output value. The park infrastructure had 498 million yuan of investment this year with a total investment of 2.4 billion yuan to date and industrial projects got 4.8 billion yuan. About 216 enterprises entered the parks, covering 26,900 employees.
