Lusheng dance of the Miao ethnic group, with its long history, is quite popular among the Miao people. Usually, a man plays the Lusheng, a musical instrument, followed by a woman, dancing and shaking bells and a hanky, with music.

Based on its content, Lusheng dance can be divided into five categories, namely, self-entertainment, customs, performances, sacrifice and ceremonies.
